My brother and I grew up at Putson Manor and in the sixties my parents converted The Coach House for our maternal grandparents. Although we both settled in other parts of England with our own families, we have wonderful memories of our childhood at Putson and particularly of being able to trot over to The Coach House and spend time with our grandparents.

The Coach House is right by the river, but separated from it by the garden fence with the river path on the other side. The garden at The Coach House is not child-proof so please make sure they never play unsupervised, and explain to them that they mustn't leave the garden to explore the river bank without an adult.

The Coach House has full central heating, but it also has a woodburning stove in the Sitting Room. We do not have a safety fireguard at The Coach House, so if you have small children we do not recommend that you use the open fire during your stay.
