By road Hereford in three hours from London,
under three hours from Manchester,
two hours from Oxford, one hour twenty minutes from Bristol in one direction, Birmingham in the other, and
an hour from Cardiff.

There is also a direct rail connection with London
which leaves regularly from London Paddington, calls
at Reading and Oxford before making its way
along the pretty Costwold line to Hereford. The
journey takes around three hours. Check times and
fares at National Rail Enquiries.

Although the area of Putson was built up during the fifties, The Coach House retained its beautiful views
because the farmland on the opposite bank of the river
is a flood plain and planning would never
be given to develop the land.

Once through the front gates it feels as if you are in the heart of the country, yet you are fifteen minutes
gentle walk away from the centre of Hereford,
along the River Path to the
Victoria Foot Bridge.
